Vietnamese Street Food

If you want to find local Vietnamese Street food in Danang, you’ll find a lot of different dishes available driving down certain well known streets. Below is a list of streets to explore & some well known food to look out for.

“Châu Thị Vĩnh Tế” Street

On the Road opposite to the “Beach Road” in the An Thuong Area. “Châu Thị Vĩnh Tế” Street, just above An Thuong 15 & 17.

 

There are numerous street food vendors and restaurants serving all sorts of Vietnamese food, you’ll find most Vietnamese dishes in this street.


Banh Mi - Bread roll with egg, lettuce, vegetables & meat

You’ll commonly find “Banh Mi” (Bread roll with egg, lettuce, cucumber and sauce) stalls.

A Banh Mi typically cost between 10-15k.


Chao Bo – Rice Porridge

Near the end of Chau Thi Vinh Te street there is a small shop which sells “Chao” a rice porridge dish.

Chao Bo = Rice Porridge with Beef

Chao Luong = Rice Porridge with eal

Rice Porridge with fish (Salmon)

 

They add vegetable mixes making it quite a healthy and filling meal, especially if you have an upset or sensitive stomach during a cold!
