Elementary students will have the opportunity to practice the material they’ve learned throughout the course in a real life learning experience through play activities at the Helio Kids Center Play-Grocery Store.

The Kids Center is equipped with a fun and interactive play-grocery store, filled with play-goods, carts and cashiers especially sized for elementary students. Students will practice their English conversation skills by being a “cashier”, working with SuperKids Money and by being a “shopper”, selecting play-goods from the store in a small cart to check-out.

The teacher will test the students listening skills by instructing the little shoppers where to go and what goods to buy (different fruits, vegetables and household items). The “cashiers” will practice their conversation skills by communicating in English with the “shopper” at the check-out point. Students are challenged to produce conversations in English during their interactions in the store.
