Hi, my name is Sharon and I'm from South Africa. I've been teaching English in Vietnam for 2 and a half years and really enjoy what I'm doing! I am an energetic, positive and creative person who loves to teach people new skills.

I want to create intimacy, closeness and connection with my students to help them confidently practice speaking English. I am a funny teacher and interact well with students. In my lectures, I often use lots of fun and repetitive games, songs, and activities because I know that we learn best when the brain is stimulated and alert. There is nothing better than seeing the results of your efforts help students become fluent in another language and knowing that this will open so many doors in their lives. The smiles and joy on the students' faces is an unexpected reward that touches my heart.
